Dr. Pramod Kumar Sinha is a senior cardiologist, diabetologist, and general physician practising in Gaya, Bihar. After completing MBBS in 1983 and MD Medicine in 1987 from RIMS Ranchi, he further specialised with a Diploma in Echocardiography, equipping the practice with non-invasive cardiac imaging that very few clinics in the region offer in-house. Shubham Clinic and Cardio Diabetic Centre runs two daily OPD sessions, Mon through Sat, from a familiar AP Colony address near Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple. Every consultation runs as long as it needs to, in Hindi or English. ECG and echocardiography are done in-clinic and the report is read in front of the patient. Cases needing intervention are referred to vetted centres where Dr. Sinha personally knows the consultants. MD Medicine, RIMS Ranchi (1987)
Three year postgraduate degree in general medicine from Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences. Followed an MBBS completed in 1983 from the same school, which placed Dr. Sinha among the first cohort of Bihari MD Medicine specialists practising in Gaya.
Diploma in Echocardiography
Specialist training in non-invasive cardiac ultrasound. Enables in-clinic echo with same-visit reading rather than referral to a separate diagnostic centre. Roughly one in three Shubham Clinic visits include an echo.
FICP and FCSI Fellowships
Fellow of the Indian College of Physicians (2017) and Fellow of the Cardiac Society of India (2019). Conferred for sustained clinical practice and contributions to physician training in Bihar.

Cardiology
Comprehensive cardiac evaluation with on site ECG, echocardiography, and ambulatory BP monitoring. Hypertension, heart failure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, and chest pain workup. Post event care after angioplasty and bypass, with referrals to vetted Patna and Delhi centres for intervention when needed.
Diabetology
Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes management with quarterly HbA1c review, insulin titration, foot screening, and lifestyle counselling. Diabetic complications such as retinopathy, nephropathy, and neuropathy are screened annually and co managed with specialist referrals where indicated.
General Medicine
Fevers, viral and bacterial infections, typhoid, dengue, gastric and digestive complaints, urinary infections, paralysis triage, and general health checkups. The bread and butter of a community physician practice in Bihar, treated thoroughly rather than rushed.
Echocardiography and ECG
In clinic non invasive cardiac ultrasound and electrocardiogram. Reports are read by Dr. Sinha himself in front of the patient on the same visit, rather than handed over with a single line summary.
